SEFSD full membership allows flying at both outdoor and indoor flying sites.

Our club members must also be current members of the national organization, the Academy of Model Aeronautics. The AMA fee, currently $58, includes important liability insurance coverage.

An Adult membership in SEFSD costs $45.00 for the calendar year (Jan 1st to Dec 31st)

Additional family members in the same household can join for only $10.00 for the calendar year.

Club membership for anyone under 21 years of age is only $10.00!

All SEFSD memberships expire at year end. A new adult member applying in August, for example, would still pay $45.00 to fly until New Year’s Eve.

These membership rules are subject to change by the Board of Directors, who, by the way, pay full price each year for their own club badges.

Note for new applicants:

Your AMA number will be printed on your SEFSD club badge. You can join the AMA easily and quickly online, but it sometimes takes two weeks or so to actually receive that all-important number.  The delay holds up your SEFSD badge.  My advice:  Don’t Procrastinate; Get the process going NOW.
