On Feb 2 the SEFSD hosted the San Diego Scale Staffel rubber flyers and the San Diego Kite club indoor flyers at the first indoor fly for the year. It was a lot of fun and a great success. We had 24 total in attendance with about half from SEFSD. You can see from the pictures, the Scale Staffel flew their indoor micro light planes at speeds slower than the continental drift. The indoor kiters were flying kites where there just wasn’t any wind. Of course, the SEFSDers were buzzing around with their usual array of planes, multicopters and helicopters. By all accounts, everyone had a good time. Please join us for the next indoor event on March 28, 7:30 at Alliant.
