Recreational R/C Model flying by members of the Silent Electric Flyers of San Diego (SEFSD), is a permitted use of Mission Bay Park, City of San Diego. SEFSD does not have the right to extend, transfer or delegate that permission to any other activity or individual for any non-recreational (Commercial) purpose. Membership in SEFSD does not sanction Commercial uses.
Commercial uses including, but not limited to, commercial or Military Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) aka” drone” developmental testing, flight testing, customer demonstration/sales activities, ground calibration, operator training, etc. are not permitted under the SEFSD agreement with Mission Bay Park administrators.
