Electroglide Report for April 2014

Electroglide Report for April 2014:

Spring brings April Showers, and May Flowers!  This month the winds and sprinkles have made themselves known,  but we had good conditions for Electroglide.   The first round we had several pilots maxing out the clock, and in the 2nd round Bob Anson overflew the time!

Bill Hill brought the new mini Radian out and flew in the ‘big boy’ class! It is such a cute airplane,   but there is something to be said about running with the big boys…

Don’t forget… we have talked about this before…. if you are in the air when the end timer sounds,  you have flown too long.  The “Time Marker” sound goes off at the start of the sound,  not the end of the sound.

Both Norm and Bob had full clock runs on round 1  netting them the perfect 60 points for flight,  and there were 6 other pilots with 56 or better in that round.   Bob also had the longest flight of the day at 9:56 in that run,  it was a good round for sure.
