Dart Drop
Dart Drop Rules are as follows:
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new game debuting at this month’s club meeting!
First, a big thank you to Brad for the many years he ran the 50/50, and to Panos for stepping up to continue the tradition. This new game is designed as a fun, RC-focused fundraiser for the club.
Here’s how it works:
Just like a carnival game, it’s $5 for 5 “darts.”
Fly over the target and drop all five darts at the same time into the bucket.
Any dart in the bucket wins $50!
No bomb drop device? No problem!
We’ll provide the drop device. All you need is:
A strip of Velcro on the bottom of your airplane &
an open, switched channel to control the drop servo.
Rules:
$5 for 5 darts
All darts must be dropped at the same time
Minimum drop altitude: wind sock pole height (25 ft)
The club treasury funds a $50 payout each game
Multiple winners split the $50
2 winners = $25 each
5 winners = $10 each
This is a fundraiser that’s a lot more RC action than buying a raffle ticket.
Come join the fun and test your aim!
Lastly, If you weren’t one of the 23 folks who picked up a free servo and drop platform, just add a strip of Velcro to your plane and you’re good to go.
