Hello Members, this is my last article that I am writing to our club. My 4 years of being the Chairman are sadly over with. But I had a great time in doing all the events and helping in wherever I could these pass years. Doing the raffle was a blast and I have to say Thank YOU to all of you who participated in the raffle in which you all made it very successful and most of all I am happy for all the winners who won in the raffle. It was also fun being your host at the Banquets we had at the Air and Space Museum, talk about a blast that was so much fun, thank you all for supporting me. I will be looking forward for next year in which I will be helping Jim out with monthly contest.
Otherwise, I will just be Jovi in flying my planes and having a great time and look out for my low-fly-byes…..
I will still be active with the club like helping Mark with the Hot Dogs when he is not able to do it, like this coming Saturday, Mark will be out for this weekend, and you all get me in cooking up your hot dogs!
Can you all believe we are coming up to the Holidays already, Halloween is next week then its Thanksgiving and right after that is Christmas. Actually, this is my favorite time of the year, except when it’s time to go to Hawaii. Going to have to get my Christmas list going, there a few airplanes that I have my eye out on. So, we will see if Santa will bring them to me…..
As we end the year here shortly, January is coming up and so is the banquet. I won’t be going this year; it doesn’t fit my schedule. I’m sure it will be fun. More on this next month for the tickets go on sale when it’s time renew your membership, around the first of December.
Thank You members for allowing me to help the club and most of all You Guys!
Jovi
Chairman of the Board.
