Each month the elected members from the SEFSD conduct a Board of Directors meeting. At this meeting, a myriad of details are ironed out and ideas” take wing”. One of those ideas is to have a “Rotor Day at the Bay”…………..This would give our rotor and multi rotor pilots a chance to enjoy the field along with guest flyers from SoCal. Plans are now under way and when the date is finalized with the city of San Diego (see countless marathons/races!)…I will then ask the rotor pilots of the SEFSD to step up and lend a hand.
The first of many meeting to formulate the August Indoor/outdoor event at Alliant Sports Center was held and I and your editor will keep you up to date as we get closer.
You will soon see new field boundary signs at each flying station thanks to Tim, Chuck, Chief, Steve Neu and others. . Observe them……….DON’T GIVE ANYONE CAUSE TO REMOVE US BY BEING UNCARING!
