I’ll start by thanking all the members of the SEFSD for entrusting me with the honor of guiding the club for 2012.
I’ve been in this wonderful hobby/sport since 1947 but I’m just a beginner compared to most when it comes to electric flight. We have a wealth of talent in our club and if you don’t tap it you do your self a disservice. Remember………………None of us know it all!…..
I have some ideas that I’ve brought to the Board of Directors for goals for 2012 that I’ll present at the next regular club meeting on Jan 28th, 10 AM at the Mission Bay field. PLEASE try to attend.
First and foremost will be the improvement of our field. Many people are giving of their time, talent and treasure to make it better than ever……….WE WILL GET THIS DONE.
Next is safety…………I’ll be giving you my thoughts as will the rest of the club officers. If you want to input YOUR ideas………………attend meetings.
Before closing, a thank you to Mike Eberle for spearheading the indoor flying sessions. I attended the latest one on the 24th and I assure you indoor is alive and well and a blast!
