July 13 2024 T28 Race Report by Steve Neu
We had a great turn out for the July T28 races with 13 pilots going for the gold. After some hard fought preliminary races and finals the results were as follows:
Bronze:
1) Glen
2) Artie
3) Bruce
Silver:
1) Cory
2) Quan
3) Fredrich
Gold:
1) Max
2) Otto
3) Carl
4) Steve
Most cuts and the “better luck next time” award went to Steve M!
After the races there was some talk about the use of “HV” batteries in our T28 racers—the short answer is you can fly them in the races but don’t charge them past 12.6 volts( 4.2 volts per cell). Random checks may be made if abuse of the honor system is suspected!
